| Customer Reviews: Not Needed ... Yet May 15, 2009 Lauriston H. Mccagg (Battle Ground, Washington United States) 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
It's hard to review a Kidde Fire Extinguisher hanging on the wall by the door to the carport when I haven't yet had a fire! How does one rate Peace of Mind? Bottom line: Shipping was fast and it looks pretty hanging there. All in all, a happy transaction.
It's adequate but overpriced. July 25, 2010 Flatus Ohlfahrt (Columbia SC) I wish I had shopped locally for competing manufacturers' products--I would have saved half of what I paid for an equivalent product. That said, Kidde is a brand name that I trust and the extinguisher does fit in the exact spot where it needs to go in my antique car, so...
Poorly constructed. April 1, 2010 K.C. (San Diego, California) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The kidde fire extinguishers are not well made. The handles tend to break and the internal parts are made from plastic and are therefore fragile. They are generally priced a few dollars less than other brands but the few dollars saved is not worth the trade off for lack of durability and quality.
